Sithonia Peninsula

The mountain Itamos or Dragoudelis is in the center of the peninsula, forming the terrestrial part with virgin coniferous forests. There are many beautiful places to visit there, along with long beaches: Nikiti old village, Neos Marmaras, Vourvourou, where you can explore gulfs and swim to amazing waters by boat, Ancient Toroni, Sarti and Agios Nikolaos.

Holy Mount Athos

Mount Athos is the center of Eastern Orthodox monasticism, governed as an autonomous polity and is home to 20 monasteries under the direct jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople. The Athonite monasteries feature a rich collection of well-preserved artifacts, rare books, ancient documents, and artworks of immense historical value, and Mount Athos has been listed as a World Heritage site since 1988 and only males are allowed to enter.
